[Minor changes 04-08-10: added text to computer screen, and changed line on seat from red to blue. 04-11-10: added corner window sash (inspired by comment from RockBarnes)]

This is my android character Kei, working as a secretary (or hisho) in modern-day Tokyo (though her employer doesn't know that she's a robot).

My idea for Kei is that she originally came from several hundred years in the future, and was owned by a megacorporation which doesn't yet exist in our world. Disguised as an ordinary clerical android, Kei was actually an advanced espionage and combat android with a morphable shell that made her a master of disguise; however, her sophisticated artificial brain became unstable after her heart was broken by the death of a human coworker whom she had fallen in love with. Too expensive to simply discard, Kei was reassigned to a laboratory doing time-travel research; at first she was a test subject for short jumps a few seconds into the past, then a major malfunction hurled her several hundred years into the past, to the modern day.

Since Kei cannot expect to remain operational for several hundred years, one of her goals is to unlock the secret of time travel in the modern day and send herself back to her owners in the future, or ~ failing that ~ hide herself somewhere until she is found by her future owners. At the same time, though, Kei's evolving mind is growing more accustomed to independence, and she has begun to entertain the thought of a future in which she is not simply a tool owned by someone else.

My first thought was: "Hello! A japanese lady!" (I have no idea why but I'm very fond of asian woman faces - and figures.) Here I especially love the eyes - you (and thus Kei) managed perfectly the special looks I like so much :D Very cute! (I should give 2 :love:s this time, one for the image and one for the content)

Also, nice job withe the shadows everywhere!

Some questions:
The floor indicates that there is a corner, but the glass walls show no distortion - how come? Or is there a force field instead of glass?

And - may I hope to see more of Kei? :D
